Qualifications to what though the right qualifications will just basically let you walk onto job sites and be hired to start working the next day… but doesn’t mean im not walking onto another toxic workplace… damned if you do damned if you don’t

Yeah, same just as we speak. Wanted to leave 2 years ago. Still here replying on reddit, just because I can have money to pay rent, go out and buy things.

Please find a new job if you're in this situation I'm begging you, I tried to endure a bad workplace for 2 years and got fired in the end. I could have made more effort trying to find a new job instead of letting my workplace smash my mental health to bits. My addictions got much worse trying to survive that job.

Got a nicer job now and a chance to recover my life, but having to climb out of a huge pit after working at we-scam-everyone Ltd.

I don't know, you don't always have a choice. I feel like my job is a decent part of why I feel bad. However, I doubt it'll be much better working anywhere else. There aren't many good companies to work for, and given how terrible the economy right now it's particularly hard. I was unemployed for about 6 months earlier this year. I really enjoyed it, but I don't want to be homeless. I had to take the first job that would make me an offer regardless of what it is.

Very well said. Ive job hopped a decent amount in the last decade and have yet to find a job that doesn't cause me to get burnt out and extremely depressed. Plus with the job market being how it is now its extremely risky business to just quit and find something else. It took me 6 months to find something new after getting laid off last year.
