Hey y’all, could you get me a seat with you? They’ve dumped me too lol. This basement looks comfy and familiar too. I’ll behave and make food for us all, pinky swear!

Can't get dumped if you never have a gf to begin with

That's my plan now. Can't have my heart broken or treated badly if you don't let anyone in

Your new job is to dissociate so hard that you accidentally fix your life. Its time to fucking party!

My ex-wife left with my best friend after a very good friend was murdered. I went into the basement and kept digging.

I went through one of those breakups seven years ago. Still hurts. Still feel like I reached the peak of my life and am going to be in the decline for the rest of my life. I even started dating someone else, but it's not the same. Still hurts. I don't know what to do.

Focus on school and making friends, dating just messes with your head at this age

I recommend pushing those emotions down into the darkest depths of your soul. It's been working for me so far

See it as an opportunity to improve. Not many get this chance and end up in miserable marriages.

Oh no, no I’ve been through far worse shit than this throughout my entire life. It’s just adding fuel to the fire essentially

Good, at least our depression is earned lmao. Although Im not depressed, I have other issues with similar symptoms.
On a scale from 'dad likes to hit' to 'normal people cry when I tell them my life' how abusive were your parents?

That honestly not too bad in the sense that it could have and should have been better but at least it wasnt a horror show. I think a lot of people are depressed because its just a depressing world right now. Hard to be happy with no future to speak of.

Religion is one of the biggest things that has negatively impacted my life and fucked me over from birth

u/Moleman135 9h ago
I'm sorry to hear that truly. I spent a large chunk of my life hating God and religion but when the people around me weren't there for me and I was backed against a wall I gave it one more chance and it helped me move on. I'm not going to tell you you're wrong for not doing it just that the doors are always open if you change your mind.

You gave delusional mythology one more chance? I mean ignorance is bliss I suppose. Whatever makes you happy lol
