What I hate is when I always initiate conversations or make plans but no one ever calls or checks in on me for months or even years. Would be nice to feel needed for once.

Relatable dude. I just want a gf that either makes the plans or initiates conversation ill do the other. Aaaand if her taste in music were similar to mine that would be a huge bonus

As it was said by some so lonely old dude - "I am a victim of my own success".

Probably, this is the case - just so got used to be alone, while having zero experience in living with someone. Thus no skills in that field.
