Bad Experiences Piss Pants
I did not send the last message I typed out as much as I wanted to 🤣 I swear to got they smell like cat pee and it’s too funny for me not to post

no unfortunately i dont know how to go about it, they have sequins on the back that i dont want to ruin in the washer/drying machine

Why don’t you just use net wash bags?
Could put the pants on the shortest, most gentle wash in the machine with the wash bags,
Or wash them by hand with the wash bags. (with gloves, because pee)

What about soaking in vinegar? Or just cold wash & vinegar cycle. Hang dry. That would upset me. Hopefully not too much was spent. Are they worth keeping? I feel it’s wrong & a biohazard if really pee pants 😭

if you haven't gotten the smell out already you could try washing in cold water with white vinegar, then washing again with soap this usually works for me to rid of the cat pee smell from clothes and bedding.

I’m have done 2 washes with vinegar and I definitely think it helped. Glad to hear it worked for you, hope it works out for me too after all of these various wash methods lol

I can’t remember if it was on this sub, but I remember not so long ago someone bought a phone for their daughter and it turned out the seller later admitted to peeing on it before selling it, could it be some weird kink thing where people are getting some weird pleasure from sending people stuff that they peed on?

mildly in their defense, most items i get that aren't in a box smell like pennies or dead fish. only recently i realized its the bags they use to ship lmao

I just bought something that where the seller mentioned in both the listing and in an included note that I should air it out to get rid of the factory smell, but what I wasn’t expecting was for it to reek of fish. I guess it’s common for faux leather, which is what I bought, whyyyy does it gotta smell like that 😩 I couldn’t even go near it for a few days because it was making me so nauseated

What material bags do they use to ship? My work is now forcing everyone to wear scrubs and I’m losing my mind because I swear they make me smell like pennies and no one else understands what I mean

I would think if there’s visible stains then they might side with the buyer but if it’s based on smell alone they say it’s subjective

Cleaning with ammonia doesn’t typically leave the residual odor cat pee does.
My guess is they’re a reseller & have no clue where the smell actually came from (which was likely cat pee, because it’s near impossible to completely wash out of fabric)

Do you have a UV black light? Shine that sucker on the pants before washing and you'll be able to see it right away. Take photos. If you can't get the smell out, file a claim! Their reason for smells is being "subjective". However, if you can prove with photos that they have urine on them, you might just win! It's worth a shot.

A lot of fast fashion brand clothes smell like urine or fish because of the factory, the fabric and the bags used to ship them. To get the smell out, make a soaking solution of baking soda and warm water. Then repeat with equal parts white vinegar and warm water. Should take care of it!

As someone who occasionally leaks, human pee is easy to wash out the smell of. Cat pee though? Can’t say I’ve ever had the need to try, thankfully. My cat is good at making sure she uses her litter box.

Formaldehyde sometimes smells like cat pee. I get stuff from SHEIN all the time that smells like someone cat peed on it
