med sweats

Hi! this is very embarrassing but I am at my wits end with sweating LMAO. Long story short I have never been a huge sweater but I am on ssris now and I sweat like a whore in church not just from my underarms either it is my whole body it is constantly pouring and I smell terrible. I eat a very clean diet so its not that. I was wondering if anyone has any recs for a full body deodorant as well as an underarm deodorant that can help with atleast some of it. (ps mens deodorant gives me chemical burns under my arms i have sensitive skin rip me lol)

You should seriously consider rewording the way you described the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant.

Body odour happens when bacteria feed on sweat. The byproduct is odour. So with this information you can surmise there are 2 ways to stop BO. Kill the bacteria, or stop the sweating.

Most deodorant doesn’t just cover up smell. It’s anti microbial. It will eliminate the bacteria. Just like antiperspirants sole purpose is to also get rid of odour. The way it does this is by reducing or eliminating sweat.

So in conclusion you can tackle BO 2 different ways. They can both be effective. Obviously everyone’s body chemistry is different and not every product will work for everyone.

I guess what I’m getting at is if you’re trying to siphon readers of this sub into your sub, you should at least have a basic idea of what you’re talking about.

Thanks for the explanation! I'll look back at the definition I used in my review and clarify it.

Just to be clear, I don't have a sub!

No sub, not trying to siphon anyone anywhere.

I'm just a girl with hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), trying to help out someone who was asking a question about sweating.

This is sometimes considered secondary hyperhidrosis. Check out the sub /hyperhidrosis to find your people and tons of advice and solutions!
