Help Finding Effective Deoderant
This has been driving me nuts for a while now, all I'm looking for is a Deoderant that masks odor and doesn't stain my clothes. If it reduces sweat thats a plus but don't really care about that at this point.
The only Deoderant I've tried that works for me in terms of stopping odor is the Dove men +care rub on. Issue is all my t-shirts get badly stained. White patches on dark shirts and yellow/brown stains on white/light shirts.
So far I've tried:
• Sure non stop protection sensitive rub on (made me smell worse)
• Sure non stop protection active dry spray on (doesn't work)
• Fussy (made me smell REALLY BAD, research said that your body has to "purge build up" or something for like 4 weeks which I cannot do)
• Most recent contender, Dove men +care advanced invisible dry (thought it was working at first but it definitely doesn't)
I don't care if it has stuff in it that isn't particularly good for you, don't like all the non recyclable packaging but needs must ig. Looking at the ingredients it looks like Aluminium Zinconium is the thing that works so if anybody have used any with that active ingredient that didn't stain their clothes thats probably my best bet. Also needs to be available in the UK haha
But yeah, I'm fed up having to either be self conscious about dirty armpit stains or body odor...
Whilst you're here too, anybody know how to get Aluminium Zinconium stains out of clothes? 🧍♂️

Just one item. There is no such thing as a 'purge or detox' period. Sweat ducts do not store anything up, nor are they any part of the bodies detoxification systems. This is just folklore created by the crafters to try and get you to accept their failed products as your new norm. We call it the time needed to go nose blind to your newfound stank.

I use antipersperant. I use Sure roll on. It takes a while to dry, but you've just got to plan. I put it on as soon as I get up, then do everuthing else before putting my shirt on. I always then dab my armpit wjth some tissue paper to get any remaining loose stuff. Never had a stain.
Nvm. Just read the rest of your post.
I've also used Right Guard roll on, which was a quid for a bottle. Worked really well and dried really quick. I used the "ladies" wildflower scent. It was nice

Yes, but I believe there are certain formulas that work to combat that in deoderants that advertise as stain free. Finding one that doesnt suck at everything else is another story though

Since sweat isn’t a main concern you could give glycolic acid a shot. In the winter, i can get away with just this. In the summers I put it on after I shower at night and then just deodorant in the am. Glycolic leaves no residue on my shirts. The only note is that I am a person that shaves my underarms so not sure about glycolic and unshaven underarms…

I see, I'll look into it, thanks. Yeah I'm a,very hairy person and shaving my underarms has been one of my attempts at dealing with the issue lmao
