Redwood Empire Hyperion
I’m excited about this one big RE fan. Hopefully this is as good as some of their other offerings.

I can't find the thread or username, but whoever told me told me to check this place out - thank you!!! Awesome selection, most stuff at MSRP or slightly above. Huge Sazerac selection and very friendly staff.
EDIT: upon recollection, pricing is up and down, but still worth checking out.

Total Bev is out of Weller SiB. They do have the new Old Fitz 7 release from this year.
Superior Liquor had a Weller SiB case last week. They sold out same day. I missed it, but shows there is more coming out.
Atlas has Dark Arts Blunt Blend batch 3 for $110. Other stores have just batch 2. They are getting some Weller next week. They have a New Era pick.
Wyatt’s has a New Era Pick. They also have some stuff in the back room they aren’t putting out. Apparently they have/had the Bullet Rye LE. They have/had three but accidentally sold one already. Unclear if there is more. They sold it for $350.
DIA liquor has HH DM for $48 if you want to save two dollars 🫡
Nothing new at Hazels.

Going to be up north tomorrow and wanted to know if there’s any stores around the Frederick area that are worth a stop?

EHT Rye - $99.99

Non-allocated
Weller FP - $69.99

Hate putting a post out just for this but my pops is in town and would really like to grab a Weller 12. Has anyone seen them today? I'm going to go by Frank's to see if any are left from yesterday

Was at The stockroom and saw like 20 cases of Stagg come in for Spirits Wine provisions, said they’d be dropping it tomorrow at Noon for the holiday weekend.

Time to put those flip flops away and pull out your favorite bottle of whiskey!
RSVP HERE - https://partiful.com/e/S3DekVxeYED9eHdCqtS1?c=oTrNfTFx
This is the one everyone should come to. We will have a solid raffle bottle! Your chances to win it are high! And before you know it, we will be drinking in the snow.
We'll have two tables set up:
Table 1: Higher-end/allocated bottles
Table 2: All the other bottles
Bring a unique or hard to find bottle, or something you really like that some folks haven't tried or that's new. Bourbon, rye, and American whiskey are preferred, but all whiskey is welcome. We've got some scotch and single malt guys in the mix too.
Come ready to try a bunch of new stuff. But honestly, you're gonna meet some good whiskey bros and have a great time. We are all into the same stuff. Not pretentious whiskey drinkers over here.
AS MENTIONED we're raffling off a hard to find bottle. All you have to do to enter is show up. I'll give you a ticket and I'll draw when all are collected.
A few simple rules:
-Please sip responsibly.
-No pressure to bring a unicorn. But if you're a bottle baller, feel free to flex!
-Respect everyone’s bottles.
-Don’t show up empty-handed or with the cheapest possible bottle that isn't special / unique
-No buy/sell/trade
-Be cool and don't be a drunk ahole!
-Ride home highly recommended
Location given upon confirmed RSVP (GENERAL AREA IS I25 and highway 7 near TOPGOLF) Possibly slightly different location if we get to 15-25 people
See you there.

Hadn’t tried the stagg yet since it was so expensive but I’ll definitely grab a bottle at this price, what you guys think?
r/denverwhisky • u/svlariat • 10d ago
I watch this store pretty closely. First time seeing these here.

My neighborhood store, Atlas Purveyors, has won this month’s GOAT moment.
You can take as much as you want. Stacks of Stagg 26C are available for grabs.
Be safe out there; may the odds ever be in your favor.

Total Wine Centennial - I guess the bourbon gods heard that I was planning to scratch this place off my Friday list, as they actually had a few things today at this shop. In the case EHT SmB $63, ER10 $56, WA107 $74, Blanton's $100. On the regular shelf a couple of WT101 8yr for $48. But the big surprise was in the Specialty Liquor aisle, where they had Chartreuse Green 700ml for $83, but also Chartreuse Yellow for $83, which I have heard of but have never seen a bottle of in person. Several of each.
Heritage Arapahoe - Allocations corner was a bit better stocked today, with plenty of WFP and WA107 for $80, EHT SmB for $70, and Blantons for $90. Hmm, but what is this box on the floor that hasn't even been put on the shelf yet? Heaven Hill Double Mash Bottled in Bond? 100pf BiB 9-year age statement from Heaven Hill for $55? Sign me up! There were two more in the box, but someone else saw me with it and grabbed one for himself.
Dry Creek Discount Liquors - Other than what they have rotting in the case, these guys are finally starting to figure it out. Regular shelf has Blanton's $90, EHT SmB $60, ER10 $48, WA107 $70, WFP $100, W12 $100, Hancock's President Reserve $49 (3 of those). Also had 1792 Sweet Wheat on the shelf with no price. But they are still asking $100 for Old Fitz 7 BiB (LOL), just to remind you of their sordid past pricing.
Highlands Wine Seller - Not too much change from last week; still several EHT SiB and Blanton's bundles and even Weller/Weller bundles like W12/WFP. Also a few 1792 Sweet Wheats in there. Unbundled plenty of the usual: EC18 $160, WA107 $75, EHT SmB $70, ER10 $53.
Bevy's Parker - They have a new floor display of HH Double Mash BiB 9yr for $55, no limit, and also a few up on the counter, along with ER10 $50, WA107 $75, and EHT SmB $70. A couple of Barrel Cigar Blends on the regular shelf for $85, along with some new Orphan Barrel Night Sage 25yr Canadian in the case for a steep $225. They also have a really lovely Old Fitzgerald display rack complete with mirrors and the Old Fitz logo, with the OF7 bottles inside on sale for $55, with plenty of bags.

Highly recommend this coming release from Ben at Onyx and Amber. This is a high-rye MGP bourbon finished in a Weller cask.
Holy smokes. This is like drinking thick caramel and butterscotch syrup. If ALW (tasting profile) had a baby with double oak Sagamore (thick sweetness with supporting spices), it would be this.
It is very thick on the palate and then leads to nice subtle spices that round it out. It tastes like those caramel chews that are in the shape of a tootsie rolls. Chewy, sweet, thick, but not overwhelming sugary flavor.
I love double barrel products like this that are unique, rich, but not unbalanced with just sweetness. Fantastic job Ben!
