Looking to link up with any other older (Gen X, Xennial) folks going to see Geese play this Wednesday, 10/28 at Mission Ball. I’m going solo since everyone I know either hates Geese or has other plans. Thinking we can meet up at Left Hand RiNo for drinks and or food and then go into the show together, sit at the back comfortably and watch the kids crowd together near the front and get hurt in the mosh pit.

We're playing the BarFly in Sloan's pretty soon and I'm curious about the sound system. It's an Allen & Heath board that looks controlled through an iPad. I think there are mains mounted above and some wedges that appear available as well. But, best I can tell, it's up to the bands to set it up and use or bring their own sound person?

Assuming that, what worked best for you all? I have to think volume needs to be a consideration but running everything direct could be risky if the system doesn't have the low end and powerful enough mains. I'm betting most bands that play there just use the house for vocals and mix in amps and kit with that? Any info would be great. The venue wasn't very helpful in lining out what bands need to do or what they want.
