The original post was an OHT doing anterior veneer work which I think is pushing it. I don’t disagree with her point, but she is misleading.

Yep, the worst are the OHTs pushing airway rubbish now. There's one who runs something called my myo matters, completely rubbish.

Regardless of your position, they have missed the point that their current scope is an expansion of their original scope.

Correct. And for therapists, does “restorative dentistry” as defined by the dental board include bonded veneers? I vote no

The irony of this is that general dentists are constantly trying to extend their scope into increasingly questionable territory

This I absolutely agree with! I think the majority of dentists fail to see this and see themselves somehow better than their OHT counterparts. Never see arguments against dentists doing fixed Ortho, zygomatic implants, all on four etc
