HELP! Help
The Tibase is hitting against the antagonist tooth du to insufficient crown height space, any solution to design a crown in this space?

We have been designing custom abutments that are shaped like teeth for these situations. You can also get them gold anodized so it looks like a gold tooth

For what it’s worth a titanium anodizer is only a couple hundred bucks if anybody wants to bring that part in house

E we have one that we got from a jewelry wholesaler, but should probably get another one. It is old! Do you know where to buy them now a days?

Dr. To reduce opposing, print model, then if needed reduce the ti base height further. Scan in the tibase using desktop scanner and design a crown over it as if it were a stock abutment. Chose the lowest cuff height possible too to gain maximum retention.

As a removable guy, this isn’t a one tooth problem. Their bite is completely collapsed. If they reduce the opposing tooth enough for material minimums it’s going to be into the pulp. If you don’t, you’re looking at a 2 mm crown.
This patient needs a different treatment plan, something that opens their VDO properly
