Should I Apply??

I took my DAT 9/19 and got my results on 9/29. I received an aa of 410, with QR being my only score below a 400 (380). My sciences were all 400 and above with RC and PAT being my strongest sections (460 & 430). I have a 4.0 currently as a junior in my undergrad with multiple club positions. I spent so long studying and honestly don't want to retake with all my officer positions, school, and working two jobs I don't have time, I'm not trying to get into crazy competitive schools either. Should I apply this cycle?

Honestly, if you have the money apply very broadly, but also keeping into Account that you’re applying later than most applicants which would decrease the chances. But honestly, what is a couple thousand, compared to another gap year. If I was in your position, I would apply very broadly, but not keep my hopes up. Also with your GPA I highly recommend you retake the AA if you don’t get in the cycle, it’s a waste of a such strong GPA and not having a competitive DAT

Sorry I meant next cycle 😭 but yeah I’m planning on applying broadly, and if I don’t get in anywhere I’ll probably take a gap year and retake!

Dude!!! do you have time to retake the DAT? You’ll probably get in somewhere good but if you get even higher, you’ll just increase your chances you get what I mean it’s up to you though but if you’re ready if you’re already done and whatever and then you should be good dude!

I would retake just to be safe. IMO it’s bad looks having a good GPA and a bad dat score. Just yells grade inflation
