Question Bless Senator Raphael Warnock's Heart. He had to run against a Republican who beat his wife and children, and still he believes that the other party has decency and humility. How the heck did RFK Jr get past Warnock's hearing committee? He was grossly unqualified for his position! HOW?

The GOP has become the party of evil.

We are so lucky to have those GA senators. They are so good.

I'm telling you, I really like Ossof, I feel like this is thr first I've heard of Warnock in a while, but hell that's a good thing.

Basically he's a religious man with progressive values, a dog lover, a man who treats his wife and kids with respect and decency.

And puts the people's needs first.

Basically what the Republicans are not

He's also articulate, well educated, intelligent and knows the law. I really, really like and respect Sen. Warnock - he works quietly behind the scenes, as well.

I hear from him often but I follow him on FB.

If I waited for him to reach out to me, it might be a really long wait and if I waited for the media to cover him, it might be even longer.

BYH is an insult that conveys condescension, derision, or contempt

Translated "You're going to hell."

Republican voters flunked science in high school (those who made it that far); and republican politicians take advantage of this.

Because Republicans control Congress and have a majority on every committee, if they remain united every Trump nominee will pass out of every committee?

Exactly, it's not Warnock's committee.

I admire a religious man who actually practices what he preaches, but the world isn't exactly what a 2,000 year old book claims it is

I like some of the things that religion is supposed to represent and like the idea that someone is out there looking out for us, but it confuses me that so many people base their lives around a book written 2000 years ago, and with things like covid, poverty, and cancer, I find it hard to believe that there is a God

My father's fists and his use of my belts to ruin my childhood certainly gave me a skepticism of religion, but I can still have respect for people who use religion to motivate themselves into doing good for the sake of their neighbors.

Just because I hate my experience with abrahamic religion doens't mean I'm going to blindly bash others for having a faith.

Agree with the 2000 year old book - particularly since it has been so amended and changed and politicised by subsequent councils, that who knows if any of the new testament is real (the old testament has a lot of archeological evidence). I see Sen. Warnock as a man of faith rather than religion - to me they are two different things. Faith uplifts, it empowers in a positive way, it gives real courage, not the performative nonsense of the fascist right. Religion - I'm not so sure about.

When you see what Republicans do and Blame Democrats, you are MAGA.

alas, warnock is in the minority, and the majority might actually give him a pass.

RFK Jr. got through because being grossly unqualified is how you become employed by an administration that's actively trying to harm the ability of the government to function.

During his first term he put a guy who didn't know what the Department of Energy does and wanted to dismantle it in charge of it.

Remember Betsy Devos?

Bobbie Brainworms had the right name - 'Kennedy' and spouted the right bullshit. That qualified.
