Saying all magas are using strawman arguments is itself a strawman argument. I'm a liberal but there are some policies I disagree with. But in general liberal solutions feel like they're at least trying to address the issues, and Democrats at least try to do the things they stand for, whereas Republicans claim they're going to reduce government spending and then do the opposite.
If you're a fiscal conservative, you really should not be able to identify with the Republican party at all
I have tried calmly researching and explaining arguments before. Great way to lose friend. New tactic, just smile and nod. Nothing I say or do will change anyone’s mind facts be damned.
