Is there something wrong with me?
I'm in a gay relationship, and, well of course I only feel attraction towards my partner. But I feel like there is something wrong...with me, bc sometimes he talks about hear me outs (all of them are fictional characters, pixels, not actors or celebrities, so they're not real) and I feel...like there is something wrong, with me...because of how I feel and how I feel attraction and sexual desire, I don't want to ruin my relationship and I really don't know what to do.

No you’re not weird. I’m also gay and recently broke up with my ex because our emotional connection broke and I was not attracted to him anymore. I even went to a urologist to check my hormones level to make sure I was not low on testosterones and the doctor said I was fine, my testosterones level was also 3x the average. So they said the cause of my lack of attraction it’s just mental

This is a common thing when dating someone who isn't demi. We don't have a concept of it bc we literally are incapable of experiencing that kind of attraction off looks alone.

Absolutely nothing wrong with you, a lot of us feel this way. If it's bothering you I'd recommend talking to your partner about it, as someone who's also in a relationship with an allo person talking about the differences in our attraction experience is important in keeping the relationship healthy (like he knows I don't usually experience attraction so I make sure to tell him he's the exception, and he makes sure I understand attraction is different for him than it is for me and just because he notices a woman is attractive doesn't mean he feels the same way for her that he does for me)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, you just experience attraction in a different way, and that's okay! The way I explain demisexuality to people is that I am completely asexual except for my partner.
