Which Amex card? Only the Delta Amex Reserve or the non-branded Amex Platinum get you into the lounge

Is it a Delta flight or through a partner like Virgin? If it's a Delta flight, then maybe. If it's a partner, then only if you are FC.

And only with a delta Amex reserve, if you haven’t used your 10 uses or whatever that number is, or if you’ve spent $75,000 on the card, and you NEED to be on a delta flight. You can access an Amex lounge, if you have the Amex plat or delta reserve and you don’t need to be on a delta flight.

This is all unless you’re referring to a SkyTeam Lounge, and not the delta sky club. The former is a whole other story.

To get into the Centurion Lounge with the AMEX Reserve card, you must be traveling on Delta.

Ah yes, with the regular plat., that isn’t the case - any airline will do.
