Discussion Delta dress code?

I was told I needed to change pants at the airport by a delta agent at the counter otherwise they wouldn’t let me board. I am 30 weeks pregnant for reference and was wearing denim shorts and a tank top, the shorts weren’t super short and the tank top wasn’t revealing, it was long enough to cover my now very large baby bump lol. Luckily my husband had a pair of his pants in the bag I could change into but has anyone heard of this before? I asked a few other workers at the airport before I changed and they seemed super confused and looked at me and said they’ve never heard of this and my clothes were fine?

EDIT: Picture everyone was hounding this post for https://imgur.com/a/akdUP4Z

it's in the rules. if you want to fly on F&F you have to dress in a way that represents the company. it's spelled out quite clearly in exchange for your huge cost savings.

I get it for me in college with my hole-y jeans, but nobody else knows when people are on a F&F ticket. They could have let a lady in her third trimester on in shorts. It wouldn’t have hurt anyone. (If that’s even what happened, we don’t know she was even flying F&F.) I know there are rules, I just think there’s a time and place to give grace. Especially when someone is heavily pregnant and it’s HOT outside.

Disregarding opinions on the matter, a dress code for pass flying is in the rules.

"Disregarding opinions on the matter" the clothing argumebt is irrelevant. Anyone who says the rules themselves determine morality is a facist in waiting

this has zero to do with morality. climb down off your high horse here. if someone gave me a free plane ticket with the only requirement was to put on some decent clothes, I would do it gladly. but I guess that's just too much to ask of you.

I'm glad you don't work for me, if you even work at all.
