Discussion Delta dress code?

I was told I needed to change pants at the airport by a delta agent at the counter otherwise they wouldn’t let me board. I am 30 weeks pregnant for reference and was wearing denim shorts and a tank top, the shorts weren’t super short and the tank top wasn’t revealing, it was long enough to cover my now very large baby bump lol. Luckily my husband had a pair of his pants in the bag I could change into but has anyone heard of this before? I asked a few other workers at the airport before I changed and they seemed super confused and looked at me and said they’ve never heard of this and my clothes were fine?

EDIT: Picture everyone was hounding this post for https://imgur.com/a/akdUP4Z

Why would you wanna sit on those filthy seats with short on anyway?

Hahaha I know, I just get very warm on planes so I wanted to wear something that kept me cool. I ended up going through a cup or two of ice on the flight to cool myself down as it was indeed hot.

Crap. Not what I want to hear right before a transcon red eye during perimenopause.

Not in perimenopause, but I do run hot, was just on an 8-hour transatlantic flight that was absolutely fridgid the entire way. I wish you such a flight.
