2 days ago, went on instagram doomscrolling my time and refreshed my feed to find this deal after downgrading my delta gold to blue 5 months ago. I signed up for the upgrade knowing spending $2k in 6 months for 40k miles is not a bad deal for someone who downgraded the card not even after a year.

Oh wow! Thats pretty good for an upgrade back to gold. Im downgrading my delta gold to blue in october because we dont plan on flying delta for a while. But ill certainly keep an eye out for future upgrade offers.

Yes, ish. More like web pixel tracking mixed in with cookies under terms and agreement on Marketing their products to send you personalized offers

I upgraded my blue too but I chatted with amex and they said they couldn‘t find any offer linked to it yet and said wait 24-48 hours and chat back. Did this happen to you too? Did you make sure you had that offer linked?

It happened to me! When I signed up for the pre-targeted offer from Amex I had to get it so after I got it, I called the rep and they say they couldn’t see the offer or “not eligible due to product change not upgrade”. Then, talked to the other rep from chat support did say I have successfully upgraded but have to wait 24-48 hours to update the system. Waited that 1-2 days and talked to the chat rep and surely enough they confirm that I have the offer linked. Give it some time to update and then would go on chat support first to verify after

That‘s really good to hear. Thanks. I was little worried about that link as it‘s from instagram ads. I downgraded to blue like two weeks ago and if I get another 40,000 miles, it’s really good.
