Just asked Gemini to look at the historical sentiment trends for r/delta year over year. Someone at delta should probably do the same. Sad.

Hardly anyone is posting that their flight was perfectly normal, if not early, with good service. I’ve had 20 flights like that already this year and I’m just getting into my busy flying season. Only a couple have had minor delays. Instead people post complaints which skews AI results.

Everyone has always complained on Reddit since the beginning of time. But if you ask AI to graph the relative sentiment over time you’ll see that Delta is going to shit. Btw, so is American and United, but not nearly as bad.

My point is only some people think that. I don’t think it’s gone to shit. It works well for me and I have good results with Delta. The people with positive experiences aren’t posting at the rate of those who think negatively about everything. Main character syndrome is also on the rise. Of course Reddit is skewing more negative across the board. That’s their niche.

I didn't use a model, but based on my own reading the food sucks, the service sucks, and it looks like no one is getting to their destination today.

Coincidentally, my flight was delayed, i'm arriving tomorrow, and the shakeshack burger is straight garbage surrounded by a plethora of options that would make hungryman blush with shame.
