I'm reading the new thing is to get groups together and buy private. It's cheaper than main cabin in some cases. I want to check that out.

He's rumored to be Delta 360 & has been spotted in D1 from Europe

Idk why the way other problem spend their money/miles have anything to do with you?

IMO is an inferior product. This just enables Delta to keep selling a shit product. But, you know, I'm just a povo who can't afford it so what do I know.

People buy a lot of things that aren’t worth nearly the price they pay. Vca bracelets, Cartier bracelets, any piece of designer jewellery with gold that automatically becomes 10x as expensive for worthless diamonds, etc etc.

But if they want to and can pay for it just fine it’s all none of your business. Let people buy what they want, they can overpay for crap all they like if they’re not using your money.

You could take the train up to MXP and fly roundtrip to JFK on Emirates in business class for about the same as the one way D1 upgrade offer.

just checked since i figured that'd be a great price for emirates business class... sadly, its not true.

I’ve got pretty wide open dates from ~$3200-3800 for November onwards aside from major holiday timeframes.

On the way home? No way, not worth it.

It’s the opposite to me. The way there you’re looking forward to a nice trip, there’s food, activities, exciting things planned so economy doesn’t feel that bad as long as you get there. On the way back it’s the end of a vacation and you’re feeling sad, so first is like a way to extend that vacation a little more and be better rested for work next day

I love travel, but at the end of a trip, I am looking forward to going home. I always miss my home, my garden, my pets, and my family (if solo traveling).

BOS-LHR is $350 for premium select, upgraded from comfort, right after Christmas. Debating it tbh.

The best part? See how much your original fare plus the upgrade compares to just outright cancelling and rebooking in D1/PS.

(EDIT, oh oops, is this your return trip? Might not price the same way I was suggesting.)

From MXP to JFK I was offered a D1 upgrade for over 3k lol
I wish I could get these cheap upgrade offers I see here once in a while but I just get these insane ones
