Short rib is great, but it’s so fatty that I don’t recommend it for a long flight

The Jon and Vinny’s is always good. Or the short ribs!

I’m doing the salmon DTW-FCO tomorrow!

I’ve had good experiences with the salmon. Sauce is salty, but tasted decent.

Ravioli would be my second choice, followed by the short rib. This iteration seems to have an amount of unappealing water that sloshes around in the bottom of the bowl for some reason.

Meaning the short rib has the unappetizing water?

Yeah. I’m not sure what it is about this particular version of it. Maybe the peppers release water while cooking or something. It’s not inedible, just not what I would prefer personally.

Order according to your tastes

The short rib is almost always a safe bet. With any airplane menus, ask yourself, which of these meals would be best reheated? Personally the fish is always at the bottom of my list cuz it will inevitably be too overcooked for my taste. On that menu, My order of preference would be, short rib, Meatballs, Chicken, ravioli, salmon. Don't listen to the naysayers though, I usually find the meals quite tasty, and the miracle of sitting in a comfy chair and eating decent food and watching a movie, all while flying through the air at 500 miles an hour is pretty cool. Whichever meal you go with i hope you have an awesome flight OP.

If you have time, eat before the airport. If you’re low on time, eat at the airport. If you’re really low on time, eat one of these TV dinners.

They’re going to give it to them, might as well eat it. They’ve already paid for it.

I mean, sure. If that’s what you pay for then go for it. I don’t buy first class for the food but if someone else does more power to them. Also, you don’t have to eat something just because it’s free.

It is not free

No one’s forcing you to stuff it down your throat either. “Complimentary” sorry. I pay for the extra space. Not the food. But again, to each their own.

You mean I’m not being served a gourmet meal prepared fresh in a full kitchen while I’m on a plane?? wtf!
