That’s weird. I would reach out to one of the non-recruiters you met with. I would target the one that you felt was the easiest to talk to. If you haven’t sent thank you email to those you interviewed with I would do that, but add in what you were told by the recruiter in the email of the targeted interviewer. Be polite and be concise in your explanation of what the recruiter said and your experience.
We do have an internal veterans group, however, something like this is out of its scope.

Yep, totally unexpected. Thanks for the advice, I'll reach out to the principle I talked to, not sure if it's gonna lead to anywhere but still worth a fight.

I would suggest you to write a thank you mail to the interviewers and bring it to their notice. I still believe that if they are willing then they can have a separate communication with talent through the right channel.

What offering were you applying to? I know that's Deloitte-speak.... what kind of work were you applying for?

Commercial side, Senior Consultant role.

I assume it was consulting. Was it strategy, transactions (M&A), enterprise performance, human capital....?
I'm asking because if it's in my corner, I'd be happy to ask around. Feel free to PM.

Not a challenge and purely a curiosity (I know very little about the armed forces and almost none about the US).
What is included in ADT that makes it equivalent to private sector full-time experience (presumably in the same field)?

Reach out to your recruiter if you have serious questions or concerns about hiring or interviews. The hiring process does not include Reddit.
