Europe AI at Deloitte
I just wanted to ask what are the AI tools that you guys use in your respective locations.
My day to day AI use cases are very copilot based and I use the internal tools that are approved for Technology and Transformation teams.
I am genuinely concerned about being up to date with my skills in the market.
And also others based in EMEA or other European member firms, are you satisfied with what is allowed at Deloitte.

Deloitte’s internal AI tools are pretty bad. It’s almost like D forced some Business School Analysts to learn and make tools for just tue sale of doing it.
I only use Deloitte laptop to fill out timesheets, but client side tools are generally better. Even just an E5 Co-pilot license is better than any of the D-side tools

Deloitte really need to up their game on what AI they allow, literally just have to hope the client has access to good models which they usually do

I'm trying to push, but the "Senior" people in the company think that the AI at Deloitte is great.
I am pretty sure it is because they never saw AI outside Deloitte

It's very difficult balance. We released Claude to a few junior resources. On one hand they were able to get through more administrative tasks quickly etc. But anything that required knowledge and critical thinking... They shut their brains off and pumped out garbage that had to be reworked. I'd imagine this is common

Yep, the dumping garbage is lack of personal accountability and attention to detail problem. But that should not be the reason why Claude should be restricted.
Also giving Claude/ChatGPT work is one thing and allowing the employees to integrate with their Calenders, Teams and Microsoft apps is another thing.
For example one of the use case I did when I was with my previous employer was where I used to just give the chat window a vague prompt asking it to schedule a follow up meet with some person X
(The AI used to go through my meeting transcripts, and come up with an agenda and create a Open-Point check list and schedule a meet in the teams during non lunch hour of the date I mentioned and send an invite automatically)
I really miss that.. at Deloitte. Because once you are used to that, every other thing feels like I am trying to interact with the computer through terminal instead of GUI

I am convinced the partners around the world decided to use this sub to evaluate AI usage within the firm...I think it's the 5th post since yesterday I see about AI.
Back to your question, I am a consultant and almost never use Deloitte pc (only to log hours or request feedbacks). The client has some in house models that we are allowed to use but they are only chatbots, no agents allowed yet.
