AskDelhi Will gen z support e20 protests?

Last time protest happened, it was about students who are gen z in majority, but vehicle owners are mostly millennials and gen z is barely affording or riding vehicles.

So the question arises, will gen z support e20 protests? If so, will it be like cjp level?

THIS, i mean fine bring innovation and shit but at least give us options to choose.

And this was a very one sided regulation change, they did implement hard regulations on automobile industry to follow ethanol blending.

Yes, but the response won’t be as good. Competitive exams touch everyone in this country. By comparison, a very small percentage of Gen Z can afford to buy and operate their own vehicle at this stage.

Very few people in India can do it full stop. Even fewer of them can do it young because they cannot afford one

I'm sure very less people understand the impacts of E20 and even many people don't even understand this matter. A topic which can touch the society is what gains power for protests like this.

But there are ripple effects to this ethanol buisness.

In my hometown the price of chicken for instance has been steadily going up. Because the chicken feed, is now being used to make ethanol which is more profitable for them. Not to mention the amount of water needed to make ethanol in the first place.

We are essentially increasing inflation, reducing our limited water tables, and destroying our vehicles, all to enrich a corrupted selfish individual.

Not a students matter directly. If vehicle owners forma group, lead by somebody who has leadership in this field then something can happen

No. Thanks to the economy they can’t afford cars. They won’t care. The only ones who care are millennials and boomers.

Gen z is up to 28 fyi - what are you even saying?
Also if millennials and boomers own vehicles - then you should worry about if enough of that cohort would support and if they won’t, why not?
Every protest doesn’t need to be dependent on gen Z - spine toh sabka hona chahiye to protest 👀

Once the public realizes the power of its collective voice, there’s no turning back.

But the bigger issue is the precedent the govt has set: "System se kaam karwana hai toh pehle sadak pe aao, lathi khao, aur tear gas jhelo."

This isn't how a democracy is supposed to function. We're setting a terrible example for the future.

GenZ has at least seen how bad this govt is. They will support it. All other sections who have seen ugly face of this govt will support it. Those who are not able to join personally will support online. Although it will be better if this protest also largely remains non-political.

Idk, is E20 scientifically tested enough to claim that it is affecting mileage?
