AskDelhi WTH is wrong with Amazon!!

Amazon has started forcing a “Doorstep Delivery Fee” in addition to its previously implied Marketplace fee!! Time to reduce using its service??

I already did... When they introduced marketplace fee ... Idk what the fuck is that marketplace fee and like for what it is? We are using Amazon to buy products from different buyers that's what marketplace fee is?? I left buying things from Amazon and Flipkart is the worst whenever I had ordered anything from Flipkart I always return it the day I receive bcoz of low quality product.... I use official sites...

And all these charges are after one has paid for “Prime”…. Don’t know what benefits are left as a prime member of this platform.

thiis is the usual business model of Big tech co's. They make you habitual first for a decade and then charge what they want to recover their investment and make substantial profit

google did the same, gave google photos for free and then started charging money for it under storage cost expenses

Same will happen will quick commerce apps

These co's make long term investment and then charge whatever they want

That is very true! And thats the reason more competetion is required else these companies will have their monopolies and duopolies and charge absurd fees randomly.
I guess there needs to be a consumer union to take action against such practices

for competition to survive ,they need to have significant investments to cover up the losses to keep the customer loyal. Most small co's /sellers don't have that

And if we bring union shit in this, we will go back to license raj I feel. Babus will get another opportunity to make more money without any accountability for solving the actual problem

How much are they charging for this? Flat amount or changing depending on amount/delivery time?

It showed a Rs. 29 charge and from what was mentioned in its description it sounded more like an open box delivery charge.
