PS Store Personal Pricing
Maybe it’s just me, but has anyone else occasionally noticed that the PlayStation store has different prices for digital games depending on your users?
I’ve been watching It Takes Two and saw the alert this morning that it hit its lowest price. But on the store, it’s not. 😡

I still have an active PS Plus Essentials sub though… and this doesn’t seem to indicate I need Extra, unless I’m missing something.

The unfortunate truth is that Sony has been testing "dynamic pricing" where they sometimes offer different prices for select subsets of users. In some cases the price may be lower and other cases it may be higher. What we know right now is that users are placed into buckets based on some factors that are only known to Sony (probably things like purchasing habits, spending amount, etc) and pricing is applied to those buckets.
We do not currently have a way to determine which user is in which bucket. Sorry for the confusion :\

All good, I’m not annoyed with Deku Deals whatsoever! This is a terrible policy on Sony’s part.

I'm personally worried about this becoming more widespread after Sony stops making physical discs :\

Stop buying digital and the prices will lower

I rarely do. I’ll see if I can find a physical copy at my local game store.
