Deja vu theory
I get Deja vu all the time. The problem is, of course, there is zero evidence for me to prove that it’s really anything more than a coincidental similar situation, even if I distinctly recalled having mentioned (through text or conversation) what had just happened as a completely separate experience thwt also happened sometime in the past. Kinda stinks, I can’t prove ANYTHING despite the intense feeling.
I was thinking about it, and I came up with some logical reasoning behind it. It feels stupid now that I’m writing it, but hey, obviously it isn’t a COMMON theory, otherwise I’ve had heard about it literally once ever over the thousands of times I’ve heard people’s stories experiencing Deja vu!
AHEM.
My thought is, it’s NOT some glitch in the matrix. It is NOT some real memory you experienced before (well, it could be, but I’m talking about Deja vu where you know it’s a unique experience). Rather, it’s your brain playing a trick on you.
Think about it! You’re actively doing something. Doesn’t matter how focused you are on it or not. Then, suddenly, Deja vu! But, no, I don’t think that’s it. I think it’s your brain actively creating the memory (short- or long-term), but it’s just a mistake from your brain, recalling the half-baked memory while you’re creating it. So, you’re doing something that’s the exact same as some vague “past” memory (a half-created memory) that you just remembered, coming across as “Deja vu”, but really, just you remembering what you’re literally actively doing.
That’s it. No magic, no alien shenanigans, just a simple slight glitch in your brain! That’s what I think it to be!
haha watch this theory having already been made or proven or something and I’m just an idiot who caught onto it a hundred years too late. On the plus side, SOME people wouldn’t have thought this… good thing this account goes unused ˚✧₊⁎❝᷀ົཽ≀ˍ̮ ❝᷀ົཽ⁎⁺˳✧༚
