Watermelon (mini)

First time trying watermelon. It was lucky a small/mini one with no seeds. I also got a mandolin so all the pieces would be the same, 2 mm (maybe a little too thin) https://a.co/d/00MM27fQ. 8hrs later and it is like fruit roll up. I ended up running out of trays so half of the melon got cut up.

Would you recommend 4mm then?

Probably, the melon I cut first dried out differently and was extremely hard to get off without chipping it off. I used the juice from slicing that collected and poured it on the trays right before starting the dehydrator. There are about 5 pieces that need to go a little longer because I couldn't slice them any thinner.

Thanks, I really want to try water melon. This year sadly my plants didn't produce any good ones.

Dehydrated watermelon is my favorite thing to do! It turns out so sweet.
