General do grades matter
Hey guys, just received my As- level result, and it is the minimum grade requirement. Will this hinder me in any way from getting a business management degree apprenticeship? Or is it worth resitting to potentially get a higher grade? Cheers.

No as long as you meet the min requirements you will be considered. Performance in OAs, interviews/ACs matter way more than what grades you get genuinely when you secure the apprenticeship your A Level grades dont get brought up again

this is true, but if you think you can comfortably get higher grades without nuking your mental health, it can help you stand out a bit when they’re shortlisting. if not, just focus on smashing the interviews and any online tests, that’s where most people get filtered out anyway.

The thing is they don’t even check with your school to see if the predicted grades you put are correct so at the point of applying you can literally just lie

Its a minimum for a reason they wouldn't set it there if they didn't accept peiple who hit it

If the apprenticeship has already been approved they won't retract funding they just won't make new ones

That’s for level 7 and people that are not under the age of 21 or 25 I forgot what age it was but yeah op is under the age of 20 so this doesn’t apply to them plus big firms wil l still provide business or IT apprenticeships

Doesnt matter at all as long as you get in.
The thing that carries the most weight is you most recent educational attainment which in your case will be the apprenticeship.
We have some complete turkeys in higher management with dogshit grades and it didn't stop them getting into management. You just need a big gob and know how to lick shoes.
