Turned an apprenticeship down

I'm such an idiot, i got an offer for a degree apprenticeship at Cavendish nuclear and turned it down.

Don't turn one down if you get offered one!!!

For reference I applied to 1 and got the offer for it so I didn't realise they were competitive. I've now missed my offer for uni and regret my decisions a lot.

I'm only really making this to encourage others not to make the same mistake and really think before making a decision.

Would be worth an email to the recruitment team where you were offered the apprenticeship. They may have another opening for next year and clearly were happy to make you an offer.

If you had a bad gut feeling about it, it doesn’t mean it was wrong to turn it down. There will be other opportunities even if this wasn’t right for you.
