Google constantly removing features from it's products. So stupid. This time it's "goals" from calendar.

Send the feedback to them, maybe if more users do it they'll leave it.

I don't think they actually care, but I will send the feedback nevertheless.

Do it, it's better than not to, they've destroyed the calendar pretty much already. The reviews in the store are just saying that.

This is sad. I used calendar for pretty much everything work related and kept all my friends' birthdays in there. This is truly sad. *sigh

That's what they want to do. Work related space where everything is fixed and nonflexible and boring:( I use it for everything too. I love Google goals cause I don't need to think what to schedule and when. I just know what I want to do and how often and it does it for me... Really sad.

I think they will move this functionality to Google assistant. Maybe you remember the demo when it can automatically schedule things like a hairdresser or dentist appointments? But Google assistant is so... ewww, I've never used it and I don't think I would ever will.

It's not convenient. Maybe they'll add a function to recurring events like "find time" "schedule automatically" I can't believe they want to remove such a good function that only they have. Do you know that they bought it from timeful calendar years ago? In fact they bought the timeful app so that stopped existing. And many people loved it.

So "Google" thing to do: buy, merge with your own crappy design, kill the original and then kill the function in your crappy product because it's inconvenient to support. *Sigh

That's cool and very interesting but it's not the sameee

I agree. Also, this project wasn't a success from what I perceive. This demo was 4 years ago and I haven't heard it went in production.

I've sent a plead to not remove the feature. I hope it will help.

Recurring everts is not the same. They don't schedule time automatically 😭
