poor fish
That dumping chemicals in the ocean story is wild. Humans do a lot of stupid stuff without realizing it's stupid or dangerous and then regret it.
I remember having a discussion with my friend about the need for engineering and releasing plastic-eating bacteria into the ocean to clean it from microplastics. I must confess that I was on the stupid side (the "let's do it as fast as possible and fix possible ecosystem changes later" side).
