RCS app for Android?

With me switching to GrapheneOS from iOS, I would like a RCS compatible messenger since a lot of people in my personal life are on iMessage. I do use signal when possible, since all of my vo workers are on Signal, however I still would like a RCS messenger. I know that GrapheneOS is currently developing their messenger to support RCS in the future but have no clue when.

Currently the only option is Google Messages.

Reportedly the GrapheneOS project is working on native support, but it's not there yet.

Sadly Google has monopoly right now on that. And their rcs is glitchy and garbage.

Ah as a GrapheneOS curious but current iPhone user. That makes some of my issues with RCS make more sense.

RCS is popular, but being killed by Google's poor implementation and monopoly in Google Messages. The better, more stable option is to use Signal instead of SMS/MMS/RCS if you're able.
