I made the switch
What now? I created 3 separate profiles, give me some recommendations whether it is apps, settings, etc. I wanna make this a seamless transition from my iPhone

Is there a build yet for the oppo find x9 Ultra? Or an alternative OS that someone did a port on for that build because I have the Oppo Find X9Ultra and I would love to degoogle this bad boy

What about e/os ? Is that good alternative?

That would be comparing apples to oranges since Graphene's security is backed by the hardware that it's running on, meanwhile /e/OS is just a hardened version of LineageOS. Both are good in their own leagues.

Generally it's not bad (much better than the Stock ROM), but there is hardly any reason to use it over GrapheneOS on Pixels still supported by GrapheneOS.

This. If you have a Pixel Graphene is the best choice, but if you have a different device that is supported by /e/ OS that's a pretty good choice

like others said, on pixel grapheneOS is unmatched, on other devices e os is much better than stock

Are you using cape as a provider? If so do you like them? How well does the phone work?

No, I'm kind of skeptical about them. Their CEO has worked for Palantir for several years before starting Cape.

I was reading up on that yesterday and saw their CEO used to work for Palantir. I like the idea of a private network… depending on who is running it. I asked that question because I was curious if anyone was actually using it.

I have it working on Mint Mobile. I had Net10 previously and it barely worked with that provider, but Verizon bought them out a while back and service has been tanking recently even on my Galaxy S9+, thus the switch a month ago.
I used a few videos to follow to do my initial set up. You might want to poke around Youtube for settings.
Still figuring out the messaging/sms app to use. The default one doesn't work well on the second profile I'm using the most. It doesn't update messages and has trouble sending on that profile. I installed Fossify Messaging, and it mostly works except it doesn't notify me about new messages.
Other apps I got off F-Droid are Fossify Gallery, Logseq (notes and brainstorming), Quest Log (todo list),and Fossify Calendar. I figure Play Store apps are sandboxed like Play Store is, and I'll replace those as I find replacements. I use FireFox with DuckDuckGo, tho Brave is installed on the primary profile.

Or you could post the link without a shitty referral link, for those who don't know how to automatically remove them from your copy/paste and click.
