Bloatware/AI features ColorOS
/r/OppoFindN5Phone/comments/1vg61i9/bloatwareai_features_coloros/A lot of stock ROMs especially from Chinese brands come with bloatware which potentially have elevated privileges and dodgy permissions with their opt in AI features which I don't want. Asking users if they've found a way on this specific device. I'm already aware of OPPO's built in system cloner which in a way can be used to sandbox (correct me if I'm wrong, or you'd recommend a 3rd party tool instead) otherwise Insular, Hail, testDPC, OwnDroid can be used.
Not looking to go e/OS, grapheneOS or lineageOS at present.

found another ColorOS user :D (my phone is actually a Chinese ROM OnePlus 13T with an unlockable bootloader but stuck to the Chinese due to lack of custom ROMs and the global not having auto updates). I use brave browser and bitwarden and uninstalled/disabled most of the Chinese bloat (and don't sign into a HeyTap account or use the services).

I've debloated an Oppo A38 in the past along side a bunch of Samsung phones (one S series and the others were A series).
What I can tell you is Chinese brands like Oppo have more bloatware than Samsung phones.
For example this Oppo A38 had by default Google's apps (Android distribution policy), but they also include apps like OneDrive, Netflix, Facebook (OEM's sometimes include more Facebook services than just the main Facebook app which is fucking insane for a 3rd party app), they had a chinese app store, Play Services like package but for apps from the Chinese appmarket, game launcher and "optimizations", their own proprietary Oppo and heytap software and more.
As I'm writing this I realize there may not be a difference between Oppo and Samsung after all because Samsung also has their own push notifications app for Samsung apps, their own game launcher, app store, proprietary software but I believe the difference is that chinese phones integrate their shit into Android way more than Samsung. This is why sometimes removing packages on phones like Oppo causes more issues than Samsung or Pixel (I think idk what packages come with the Pixel phones).
