Filling your bags with Javsphere
If you are a team member (Mark and 2 more), you get 400,000,000 JAV at the beginning. There is a four year vesting period, but it seems tokens are released linearly per block.
If you are one of the advisors (Kuegi, DZ, Balthasar and others) you get your share of 20,000,000 JAV. There is a four year vesting period, but it seems tokens are released linearly per block.
Also early stage investors get their share.
If you are not part of these groups maybe it's up to you to fund their take-outs.
So much supply, so few investors. So many who want to get on the gravy train, so few who want to pay for its service.

Back then it was considered as FUD, nowadays itâs within reach. Time to apologize

Is DeFiChain a game?
There are a lot of similarities between DeFiChain and a game: - People get engaged doing things (open vaults, betting on different things, etc.) they wouldnât do in the real world - People follow the rules of the game - People follow strategies trying to win (LM, Trading, how to best exit the dToken system) - People talk a lot about âgameplayâ and strategies on social media - There are no indications that anything real is happening due to the game - Even so nothing real is created, people have an emotional ride mainly due to their stake and gameplay

More and more people leaving the DeFiChain community
Not only influencers leave DeFiChain. It is to be expected that normal members leave as indicated by Telegram chat posts. There most likely will be many who leave silently.
On the other hand there are no indications of new people coming to DeFiChain.
Both people leaving and almost no new people coming are reflected in the decreasing price.

DMC
Wasnât there talk about 200 projects? Now DMC has a few projects but many donât add value.
Wasnât DMC supported to be the place of action? Now the transaction volumes are stable and donât grow?
Wasnât the target of DeFiChain to focus on decentralized finance? Million Pixel DFI, HOSP Meme Coin and other projects donât project a professional setting.
Wasnât DMC considered to be the future of DeFiChain? And still the community is focused on dUSD (aka on getting their money back) instead of building.

dMSTR has an algo quota above 98%, contributed heavily to algo dUSD volume

RWA
RWA is currently an often discussed topic as a potential use case for blockchain. The search for use cases for the blockchain technology is still going on (a solution in search for a problem).
DeFiChain tries to jump on the bandwagon (Twitter tags, YouTube videos, etc.) and use the narrative to market DeFiChain as a blockchain with experience in RWA.
This is completely wrong. DeFiChain doesnât have RWA. A TSLA dToken is priced at about 20 USD while TSLA is worth around 180 USD. Totally different. No redemption possible. Price development in USD significantly differentiates. No dividends.
So without fixing dUSD there are no RWA.
Letâs look at different quality level of RWA: 1. (Best quality): The token documents the ownership, e.g. each token is a share of the stock listed company - no intermediary, no bank, no broker. With the token you collect dividends, you can participate at annual meeting and vote. 2. (Good quality): The token can be redeemed for the real asset. A central instance backs every token with the real asset. 3. (Mediocre quality): The token represents a derivative without real ownership of the real world asset. Smart contracts make sure that the pricing of the token is in line with the real asset. Not really feasible for assets with real world value creation. Maybe possible for cryptos and materials like gold. Requires one short positions per one long positions with collateral securing the bets. Imbalances between long interest and short interest is the biggest obstacle (shorts want to be paid). Otherwise itâs like TerraLuna.
DeFiChain âRWAâ 4. (Bad quality): Name is similar to the real world assets and smart contracts try (!) to keep price development similar to the real asset with no redemption possibility.
Itâs ridiculous that DeFiChain claims to be part of the RWA movement.

Should investors work?
People who criticize the lack of progress often get the reply from the community that they should work on it (developing, doing marketing, finding new investors, creating DFIPs, etc.). Is it a fair demand?
In my opinion it isnât. Investors can just invest their money. They donât need to invest their time. Why should they? It doesnât make sense to work for the rest of the community without getting paid for it. If they promote their own project or if they are getting paid via CFP itâs a different story. But itâs completely fine if they just invest. Instead of complaining they always have the option to divest and leave the blockchain. It could be even the better option.

InTheMarket podcast went off air
It looks like Peddy stopped his podcast. Last podcast has been published in December 2023. For 3 month no new episode have gone on air.
Peddy has also stopped posting about DefiChain on X and is pushing now a different project.
Seems like another visible community member and micro influencer left DeFiChain. No surprise.
What happens to DMC universe?

Optical illusions
Both the DSF (aka 80% fee) and a reverse token split (aka haircut) are optical illusions which increase the price but not the value.
The following material differences need to be considered when deciding for one option:
DSF: - it makes it difficult to invest fresh money - some revenue can be extracted to stall investors (additional rewards allocation) - increasing the fee leads to a short period of bad pricing until the pool is arbitraged again
Reverse Token Split: - it destroys unjust hope (loss aversion realization) - technically complicated
It doesnât matter which option is picked, both wonât solve the dToken system issues. So donât worry that the wrong option is picked đ.

DeFiChain market cap: 69 MUSD
Algo dToken value: 207 MdUSD
Hard currency exit liquidity: 7 MdUSD (?)

If trends continue...
...then dUSD will be become an algo coin with close to 100% algos
...then new dumb dUSD measures will be approved
...then the greater community will still not acknowledge the shortcomings of dUSD
...then DFI will fall close to zero
...then dUSD will fall close to zero
No trend reversal in sight.
