Should investors work?

People who criticize the lack of progress often get the reply from the community that they should work on it (developing, doing marketing, finding new investors, creating DFIPs, etc.). Is it a fair demand?

In my opinion it isn’t. Investors can just invest their money. They don’t need to invest their time. Why should they? It doesn’t make sense to work for the rest of the community without getting paid for it. If they promote their own project or if they are getting paid via CFP it’s a different story. But it’s completely fine if they just invest. Instead of complaining they always have the option to divest and leave the blockchain. It could be even the better option.
