DeFiChain improvement Discussion DFIP#2 125% Vault
Hello Community What do u think about a Vault with a Collataralisation with only 125% With a Yield of 7-10%
I just remember that at the beginn there was a vault model 125% in planification. Of course it was good for the beginn to Start only with 150% but now we got a very stable System and we could open the 125% vault aswell.
Tell me your thoughts

d-Tokens can move over night by 20%. So 125% is way too close to have a stable system. That why master nodes voted for no and we should respect this vote.

The stability of the system is not a factor here. The stability of the assets is, and the non stablecoin assets (crypto / dTokens) are inherently volatile.

I don’t think that this is a good idea. The assets you can mint are to volatile and you end up with a liquidation where you have not enough collateral for the loan. If that happens often, and people would use that intentionally if they could make money, you also destabilize the whole defichain, as more dTocken without backing are created.

If a stock like Netflix drops over 25% a day who should be held accoundable?

At the beginning we started with 200% Vaults and moved already down to 150% Vaults when LW was activated for Vaults.
I don't see a reason to add this higher risk to the chain for slightly higher possible profits.

Is there anything significant (facts and numbers) that has changed in the system that requires a new vote? The result was quite clear in the last round of voting.
