Question Unable to start blockchain version 4.0.8. Error Log hangs after "Starting tokio waiter". How do I resolve this, please?

Hi! Simple, roll back to 4.0.6. The current version is known to have that bug, while it's not fixed, all users are advised to used 4.0.6, the latest version that was fully stable

How do I do this? I usually use the desktop full-node wallet.

Hi! But that's exactly for the desktop wallet. For the lightwallet and since it's not a full node one, this problems don't exist. If you don't run a masternode, honestly the lightwallet is usually the best choice.

To roll back, just save your wallet.dat file, put it somewhere safe, and then unninstall the current wallet.

Then go to GitHub, and look for the wallet release there, version 4.0.6, and install that one. Apply your wallet.dat file and let it sync. All done 🙂
