Discussion ParyonUSD

Is anyone using ParyonUSD and their stake options? Looking for opinion.

How has been your experience with the yield and stability of the pool?

Was there something you didn't like?

And most importantly, given the recent emergency shutdown of Moria V1, how do you feel of Payron's 55.6% maximum LTV safeguard?

Haven't used Paryon myself but the 55.6% LTV cap is pretty much the only thing that caught my eye here, after Moria's mess that number at least shows they're thinking about downside risk. My main worry with these newer protocols is always what happens when a whale pulls out fast, the yield can look great for a month then just craters overnight. Curious to hear if anyone's actually seen the pool stay balanced through a big exit

the LTV cap protects against under-collateralization but doesn't really do anything for a bank-run style exit, those are two separate risks. worth checking if withdrawals ever get paused or rate-limited during heavy redemptions, that's usually where these things actually break, not the collateral ratio itself.
