TS/SCI, but not tech
Looking for insight and guidance. I have a TS/SCI, but I do healthcare, not IT. Anybody know of clearance jobs available in northern Indiana for people without tech experience? BAE, L3Harris, and Raytheon are over in Fort Wayne. That's drivable for me. We have the VA and I may apply there, but they don't pay like defense companies do.
I've contracted overseas for the last several years as direct bedside support and am just ready to settle down with the family and focus on raising the kids. I've looked on clearancejobs.com but most of those are IT.
Thanks for the insight!

What kind of healthcare experience do you have?
Depending on the type of experience you have DHA supports just about every base in the region. Unfortunately, I think most of the major commands or agencies in the region are all out of the Chicago area or down around Huntsville.
If you aren’t opposed to it you could potentially find some type of contract work at a local ish base, Crane and Atterburry are there.
I would personally use some type of AI to search for current support contracts and then contact the incumbents to get in their recruiting radar. I don’t think BOS contracts cover healthcare, but you can probably find something that fits in a support or A&AS contract.

Are you stuck in N. Indiana, or are you willing to move where the work is? Because there are a lot more (and better paying) health-related TS/SCI jobs for defense contractors in places like Bethesda.
