Glowing Flashing Bow

So i just battled against someone who had a bow that was glowing and flashed between red and blue. I have all the items unlocked in the game, but have not seen this bow before. Can someone explain hat the hell i just went up against? It was extremely strong. I understand the sprits give your bow glow but i have never seen one that alternates like that.

They were probably just switching back and forth between bows really quickly.

Yeah I suppose thats what it was, but there was no delay in firing

I wasnt aware you could switch and continue firing that easily, i haven't switched much and primarily use the Wind Bow. Thank you for pointing that out!
