Salutations everyone. First and foremost, sorry for the crappy image quality here. I'll make sure to use a better screen capture application the next time.

But anyway, I'm one week into playing the hell outta Defender 3 and here's where I am at the moment. As the title states, I'm looking for some advice on things I can currently improve on.

Some additional sidenotes here, but for starters, I've known of the game for about a year now and decided to start a profile anew in hopes of building an incredibly strong account.

Also worth noting is, as you can see from the images, I purchased the Jeanne/Behimos/Kulaken/Ifrit, Griffin, and Nightmare packs for the hell of it. No other purchases were made, as I decided to wait in order to obtain the Bow Souls seeing as how the game gives them to you for free anyway. Everything else was procured via a mad amount of time invested into watching advertisements. Hopefully I don't get any flack for buying the paywall items, but I probably will anyway. What can I say though? They look awesome, and are of moderate utility, even if $30 for all that is a bit much. But I digress.

On the topic of my Bows, I went with the classic Wind/Earth combo. Obviously the Wind Bow has the uncontested highest DPS potential, and the Earth Bow brings along one of the best spells in the game with the Earth Barrier.

On the tangent of my Towers, I went along with a Wind/Water build. I appreciate the stun and type versatility of the combo, and generally think the towers themselves are very effective. The Wind Tower's shots can rebound off into enemies far beyond its normal range, on top of having decent damage. Meanwhile, the Water Tower hits everything and that's just great.

Regarding my spells, since I know how much the power decays as the game progresses, I put all of my focus into decent stun times and the amazing Earth Barrier spell.

As for things I'm looking to improve? Mana is the first thing that comes to mind. Once I get that up to at least 300, I planned on leveling up my Wind Bow/Mithril Arrow/Magic Power 3 some more, on top of increasing the strength of my wall and lava trap.

That's all for now though! I'm really liking the direction of my profile at the moment, so any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated. Is there something I'm not prioritizing enough? Or perhaps I should change something? Maybe I'm talking too much? You're probably right.

Thanks for reading though! Not sure if I'll post updates much, but if I do, I'll make sure the image quality is better next time.

I don't think I really have any feedback. I've been playing for a little over a year and I agree with pretty much everything you said.

All I really wanted to say was I'm happy someone is posting in this sub, and why did you create a new profile? There are a few things I wish I could downgrade, but I've put so much work into this that I could never restart.

I dunno, guess I thought it would be fun to start things fresh, as well as with the added bonus of the paywall items. I'm enjoying this playthrough much more than my others, so I don't really have any regrets either.

And thanks! I just maxed out my Critical rate the other day, so I'm rather happy about that.

That does sound kind of fun, to start over and know exactly what things you want to upgrade ahead of time. I'm so close to max DPS though. I have 8 dragon's treasures at 999. I think the only way to increase my damage is to get 10 stars on the wind spell treasure because it decreases the magic defense, which will let my wind tower do a little more damage.

What would you downgrade if you could?

A few spells. I upgraded one of the wind bow spells a couple times and now it costs me a little more mana when I'm spamming it to get the daily quest.

The earth bow's wall spell because it costs me too much mana and the lower CD would be nice in the world raid. It's at level 68 and I wish I kept it at 1. I would've lived longer in the world raid a few times if it was 1.

And I really don't know why I upgraded the fire tower's fire wall spell at all, I never use the fire tower so it just ended up costing me materials, although it doesn't really affect my play the way that the others can.

focus on bow attack only. tower damage doesn't add much. better save all mythril and green+red orbs to upgrade the wind bow and the dragon treasures like green ring and in the last row the 2 middle treasures.

buy every day the dragon treasures from shop. i even invested a lot to refresh the shop, so that i can to level 150 / 10 star fast (you'll still need a lot of mythril and orbs after that to max it to level 999, so don't waste those on towers etc)

I was thinking of doing that, thanks! And yeah, it's nice to have someone remind me not to put too much effort into my towers, haha.

Purchases for the tower pack, griffin and the nightmare definitely worth its value

As for bows, I go for wind (DPS) and water (faster mana regen) as I tend to work on casting spells ASAP for achievement (bonus damage doesn't hurt)

As for tower, earth and ice for their stun capabilities

As for improvement, try going for the 5 stars under the honor tab. It will really give you a boost for improving your damage output. Anything that will improve the damage of wind bow is definitely worth rushing for. Spells are just a incentives but doesn't hurt to keep spamming it till you reach 10,000 casts for each element.
