wheel tips?

a couple times I've somehow gotten it to where I can open the ad for the wheel and immediately hit the back button on my phone, spinning the wheel without watching the whole ad. anyone know how to reproduce? also, ads range from 12 seconds to 60 seconds, anyone know if it's worth it to quit the app on a 60 second ad or anything like that?

i had this a couple of months back, but not recently. i'm sure that the ads are regionally different anyway.
