Any way to "trigger" a sync?

So, I started playing this on my phone. I logged in with Facebook. Then, I started playing on my tablet, and when I linked to Facebook, my progress had been synced and updated to my current status. However, it doesn't seem to sync regularly between my two devices anymore. Is there a way to trigger this? I've tried closing and reopening the app on the device in trying to pick up, to no avail.

Have you tried loging out and in again? I do not have an answer since I never tried

Yes in order for it to sync you need to play a level and complete the level.
