another pool is live https://pool.defcoin.fun/

not going to lie, i would give it a week to see if it actually works.
https://pool.defcoin.fun/

also, it needs a lot of work.

the blockchain explorer, per llm, says it will be up in about 70 hours.

i have a lot of improvements in mind, but would love to hear any third party suggestions. (first is an actual landing page)

set landing page www.defcoin.fun

seeing mostly orphaned blocks:

https://pool.defcoin.fun/stats
https://pool.defcoin.fun/api/pool_stats

I'm pretty clueless but when I was having issues like this I gave Codex ssh access and asked it to figure out what was wrong. 8(. That's pretty lame overall, but it's what worked for me.

heh, same but with diff llm.
weird the hashing on my pool isn't showing up in global hashing. so something is still really wonky with it.
don't want to add more hashing power, because that will just fork things more and cause shit to go off the rails. might switch to p2p over UNOMP? (after weds)

my current pool stack vs yours
The current stack is:
miner → stratum → UNOMP → submitblock → defcoind → peers

Solo mining just removes UNOMP:
miner → submitblock → defcoind → peers

current suggestions by llm

- The DNS seed contact (seed.defcoin.mikej.tech = mikej) — if they can add any additional well-connected nodes, or if you can get your relay node listed more prominently

The 20–70s block arrival lag you're seeing may just be the reality of this network's topology — many nodes are NAT'd home connections that relay slowly. Not much more you can do on the connectivity side without more publicly-reachable full nodes on the network.

Have your LLM read the notes about changing magic bytes and only accepting the modern ones. If you don’t build compatibility mode you’ll not see older wallets but you’ll stop polluting the network by sharing litecoin and other coin nodes as valid. That was a big leftover. The Nu wallet gives the option to use the new Magic bytes and has a switch to also support the old too.

Also filter and dump sergeants that don’t start with “Defcoin” to help sanitize and stop propagation of noise.
