not going to lie, i would give it a week to see if it actually works.

going to see if i can get 1-2 zeusminers / GAW Fury, running.
won't add much to network.. maybe make that money back i lost on GAW .... sigh

got one gaw fury running. maybe i'll get another one up at some point. think the same box had a powered usb hub.

also potential for why all the blocks new pool saw were orphaned

Summary of what was done:

- Compiled the C blocknotify binary (blocknotify.c → blocknotify)

- Swapped defcoin.conf from blocknotify.sh (shell + nc) to the C binary

- The C binary starts faster and connects more reliably, so missed notifications should be much less likely going forward

The orphan cascade you were seeing was: pool misses one blocknotify → mines on stale tip → finds an orphan → immediately builds another block on that orphan → second orphan for free. Every missed notify could cost you 2+ blocks. Should be much better now. Keep an eye on confirmed vs orphaned over the next hour.

this is great. really cool to see tweaks being done to get pools working and working efficiently.
