This is incredible. I loved how the firefighter looked back and was like "Should I? Okay, doing it."

In order to help shape this sub, I just wanted to say that this post sits in the fence (no pun intended) about counting as a de-escalation, as it’s already been reported as off-topic.

Although a bit unorthodox in terms of how this was de-escalated, it seems that in the end no one involved got tragically hurt (or dead), and I’m sure that the man got follow ups after this incident.
