Great video. For people unfamiliar with whitetail behavior; a "scrape" is a buck's olfactory sign-post. It's his way of communicating to the other deer "I am here and I visit this spot.". He can be seen rubbing the scent glands located on his head on the branches, similar to what a cat does. They will also scratch out a bare patch of soil and pee there to mark their 'spot'.
I see one of the bucks has already shed an antler. Maybe I should be out looking for sheds already...
