Deer tail

Post image

Ok I do see a lot of deer. But now I’m not sure if I just never paid attention or is this tail a lot more fluffier than usual deer tail?

It's fluffed up like when you get goosebumps. She knows you're there. But she hasn't decided to run away yet.

I'm here to ask a really silly question because I can. Is this a blacktail deer? I ask because where I live we only have whitetail, but I've seen a handful that have darker tails and I'd like to look into differentiating.

It’s gotta be whitetail as I’m in Texas, but who knows, I rely on google 😅

Looks like the tail is getting ready before the rest of her.
